This painting has a funny story to it. Last week I forgot about Mother's Day. I was speaking with my sister (who lives with my mother) and she mentioned that Mum had not heard from me. She asked if I did anything for Mother's Day for her. Then she advised that I really should. So, this morning I painting these tulips and took a picture of them and sent it to my Mum telling her that I painted them before I wrapped them in plastic wrapped a tag around the bottom and put them in the mail box. I told her that the stems where still sticking out of the opening in the mail box and that I tried to push them in further but they wouldn't go in any more. I was concerned that they might get crushed if I pushed them any more. Then I said in the email "Did you receive them?" Later on I called her. My sister answered the phone she said oh I heard about your tulips. I asked to speak to Mum. When my Mum came on the phone I was laughing "hey Mum did you two think I put those flowers in the mail box?" She said "yes have you lost your mind or something"? Oh, I had such a good laugh, those two really thought that I put those tulips in the mail box like that and that I had gone a little nuts .
Anyway, these are 11x14 and done in watercolor and the price is $200. if you would like to purchase thru Paypal let me know and I will send you an invoice to pay and deliver the painting thru the mail. Through the mail how appropriate.
